As such, Toolmex trademarks and logos are extremely valuable because they represent the standards of excellence and consistent quality associated with Toolmex. This page contains detailed information about how to refer to Toolmex trademarks and use our logos in different scenarios.

Using Toolmex Trademarks in Text: Proper use of Toolmex trademarks is important. You may use Toolmex trademarks or product names to refer to Toolmex products and services provided you follow these guidelines. Your usage must not mislead customers as to any Toolmex sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement of your company, products or services.

Properly Identify Toolmex Brand Products: When referring to Toolmex products and services, apply the appropriate trademark symbols in accordance with the list of current Toolmex trademarks. Set Toolmex Trademarks Apart from Other Words or Nouns They Modify: The common way to set trademarks apart from other words or nouns is to capitalize the product name and use the appropriate trademark symbol and appropriate descriptor. You may also underline, italic type or bold type for the name. Example:

Use Trademark Notices: Include an attribution of Toolmex ownership of the trademark(s) in the credit notice section of your documentation or advertisement. Follow this format: Toolmex, TMX, Elektrim and Toolmex Lathes are registered trademarks of Toolmex Industrial Solutions.

Do Not Use Toolmex Trademarks in the Possessive or Plural Form: Toolmex trademarks should never be used in the possessive or plural form. They should be introduced as a proper adjective followed by an appropriate descriptor.

Correct: This part was created using Toolmex® Inserts.

Incorrect: Toolmex's inserts were used to cut the part.

Additional Guidelines for Advertising Collateral and Marketing: You may use the names of Toolmex products and services on web sites and in advertising materials to indicate your company as an authorized Toolmex reseller, provided the reference complies with the guidelines herein and the specifications listed: 1)Do not use any Toolmex trademarks as your product name, service name or company name; 2) Do not use product, service or company names that could be confused with any Toolmex trademark; 3) Do not mimic or copy Toolmex product packaging, advertising or trade dress; 4) Do not use Toolmex trademarks in a manner that might confuse your company with Toolmex. You should maintain a visual distinction between your company and product name and any Toolmex trademark; 5) Do not create or use any logos that include a Toolmex trademark.

Logos: Do not use the Toolmex Industrial Solutions corporate logo, or any other product or brand logo, symbols or icons in connection with products, packaging, manuals, promotional or advertising materials, or web sites for any purpose except to promote reseller status. As a general rule, third parties may not use Toolmex® brand and product logos ("Logo"). On this page are the limited circumstances under which third parties may use Toolmex logos. The Logo must always be used pursuant to the specifications on this page to identify Toolmex Industrial Solutions or Toolmex products or services. Any use that falls outside of these specifications is strictly prohibited. Third parties may only use the Logo without an agreement only under the following limited circumstances: In advertising, marketing collateral, or a website that references your connection with Toolmex (for example, the material states that you are an authorized distributor or reseller of Toolmex products);In an area of a website, advertising, or marketing collateral exclusively dedicated to the sale of Toolmex products, and in such a manner that associates Toolmex products with the Toolmex logo.

The Logo may not be used in any manner that might imply that any non-Toolmex materials, including but not limited to goods, services, websites, or publications are sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with Toolmex.

The Logo may not be displayed as a primary or prominent feature on any non-Toolmex materials. Companies using the Logo pursuant to these guidelines must also display in the primary and more prominent position, their own logo(s), business name, product names, or other branding.

The Logo may not be imitated or used as a design feature in any manner.

The Logo may not be used in a manner that would disparage Toolmex Industrial Solutions or its products or services.

The Logo must be used as provided by Toolmex Industrial Solutions with no changes, including but not limited to changes in the color, proportion, or design, or removal of any words, artwork, or trademark symbols. The Logo may not be animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or appearance.

Use only approved Toolmex logo artwork: The Logo may only appear in its correct spot or process colors, or reversed out to white. The Logo may never be screened back, built out of different four-color process screens, or broken into multiple different colors. The Logo must always be accompanied by its applicable trademark symbol.

To properly stage the Logo, a minimum clearance between the Logo and other elements must be maintained. The cap height of the tallest letter in the Logo indicates the measurement of minimum clearance between the Logo and other elements on all sides of the Logo.

The Logo must always be at least 60 pixels in width.

The Logo must appear only in a horizontal position.

The Logo must stand alone and may not be combined with any other object, including but not limited to other logos, words, graphics, photos, slogans, numbers, design features, or symbols. The Logo must never be used to represent a word (such as "Toolmex") in text, including in a headline, product-name logotype, or body copy.

The Logo must not be incorporated or used in any manner as part of, or in close proximity to another company's name, domain name, product or service name, logo, trade dress, design, slogan, or other trademarks. The Logo must never appear with any other symbol or icon (except the registered trademark symbol); contained within a box, circle, or other shape; or combined with any other name, logo, or icon to create a co-branded logo.

An appropriate attribution clause such as "Toolmex is a trademark of the Toolmex Toolmex Industrial Solutions" must accompany use of the Logo.

Neither the Logo nor the Toolmex name may be used in any other company name, product name, service name, domain name, website title, publication title, or the like.

Non-Toolmex materials should not mimic any Toolmex advertising, product packaging, or website design.


Company, Product, Service and Domain Names: Do not use or register any Toolmex trademark, including Toolmex logos, symbols, icons, or any potentially confusing variation thereof, as part of your company name, trade name, product name, service name, or domain name. Do not place your company name, trademarks, service marks, or product names next to, or combine them with, a Toolmex product name.

Endorsement or Sponsorship: Do not use any Toolmex trademark in any manner that expresses or implies Toolmex affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or approval. Do not use any Toolmex trademark in such a manner that it appears Toolmex is legally associated with your company. You must display your company name more prominently than any Toolmex trademark on all materials.

Merchandise Items: Do not manufacture, sell, or give away merchandise items, such as T-shirts or mugs, that bear any Toolmex trademark, including logos, except pursuant to an express written trademark agreement from Toolmex.

Trade Dress and Advertising Elements: Do not imitate Toolmex logos, logotypes, trade dress, or other elements of Toolmex product packaging and Web sites in any of your materials, including but not limited to advertising, product packaging, Web sites, and promotional materials.

Toolmex reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate or modify permission to display logo or advertising elements, and may request that third parties modify or delete any use of any advertising element or logo that, in the sole judgment of Toolmex, does not comply with these guidelines, or might otherwise impair Toolmex's rights, and third parties agree to make any such requested modifications or deletions. Toolmex further reserves the right to object to unfair uses or misuses of its trademarks or other violations of applicable law.
